Description Etane and Jacinthe had found a good place to winter over. But it had a squatter already. A Worgaam (Content Paradise)[link] This one was far from it's usual haunts. Occasionally the people had to go on hunts to rid the area of one of these ferocious beasts.

If raised from birth they can also be trained as loyal friends. but in the wild, they are fierce and territorial. They will kill anything, so they are treated as hostile. They will not be driven away.

Etane and Jacinthe have participated in such hunts before. The ruins helped to reduce the creatures room and made up for the lack of help the two women had.

A distraction from one side and the other slices the jugular. If the beast turned at the new attacker, the other warrior would also strike. The Dangal was the perfect weapon for such a feat. A long reach and a sturdy slashing blade. The user had to balance their strength with the weight of the weapon for the strongest strike.

Both were practised and well versed, so they flipped a flat stone to see who took the neck and who took the head.

In a short time they had a new shelter for the quickly aproaching winter.

Thanks for taking a look.

Very cool image, I like the outfits and setting. My only nitpick is the warrior in the foreground has her spear angled wrong. She needs the short point to be set into the ground (or about to be set) and the bladed part to be pointed at the creature. This way the momentum and weight of the beast forces the spear into itself.

If the beast were to charge her that is true, but she is a distraction for the one coming from behind, who is about to slice the beasts jugular. The foreground warrior is keeping her weapon ready, but not set. She will stab or slice depending on the success of the other's assault.

I really appreciate the comment and that you took the time and have the knowledge to point that out. I always like to hear others' viewpoints. Thanks.

Thanks. The chill is in the air at night, but still warm days. Perfect. I'm probably going to integrate these two and their kind into my ongoing online story that is in my main gallery here. So you will see more like it.
