I love love love love LOVE all of your reference photos! I'm so glad my friend showed me this DA. I was recently commissioned by one of my friends to draw/design a character from/for his books, and so the actual human posing is very helpful. She uses throwing knives and small daggers, two in particular that can connect to become a sort of stunted double-bladed staff. This pose is definitely one of my favorites; I'm probably going to use it in a later picture to show off her weaponry.
