The Starfleet Technical Manual mentioned a Constitution class ship named Valiant (which was supposed to be the Defiant).

If you dig into the names of the original 12 Constitution ships, there isn't one list that is the same as another (I exaggerate of course) but it is frustrating to stick to one list. I mostly followed the one on Memory Alpha.

I see. In the manual I mentioned, there were lists of additional ships of that class made AFTER the original 12, including the Bonhomme Richard and Tikopai (I don't think they are considered canon or official though, as there are Star Trek manuals that don't follow canon (some of which I can understand because the lore wasn't expanded enough at the time)).
