Description
I love these three and their bond with each other. Mami was Kyouko and Moemura's teacher/senpai. Kyouko was Mami's first puella friend and Homura's ally in many timelines. Homura's relationship with them changes in each timeline but ultimately, they're still comrades she trusts.
When the time comes, Homura trusts that they will do the right thing.
As this is my last upload of the year, I spent more time fiddling with the drawing and I'm quite happy with the result :3 Special thanks to *Athyra for helping me with background and giving me shading tips @_@

I find something beautifully sad how Homura resigns herself to be killed by her two friends. This along with the beginning of the film really shows that despite how cold and distant she was in the show all she really wanted was to have fun and be loved by her friends.

I'm certain that during the many time loops, she was once quite close with all of them too, not just Madoka. She just doesn't want to feel the same hurt again so she distanced herself. As seen in the ending of Rebellion, her subconscious still sought out Mami and Kyouko until she forcefully snuffed out that notion.

I agree, she closed off her heart so she wouldn't have to feel the pain of losing them again, but you could see though subtle hints that she did feel bad as the dropped like fly's. That's Homuara's problem, she always goes it on her own.
They are pretty awesome!
But I would really love seeing all Six of the girls together.
