Fire and ice. Rebirth.I wanted to have the feeling of both rebirth in the literal sense and a figurative rebirth of ones self.

Possibly due to perception, but I usually prefer not to have it for things like this as she's not supposed to be naked, rather an element. I think she wouldn't have any feeling of that at all if I hadn't put a belly-button, but it killed the depth and foreshortening to not have it. I just usually prefer not to add to the idea that the human shape is sexual in itself. But maybe this is a case to play it safe as others may not see something else.
