Mmmmmkay, this is a bit of a dedication to someone. I know I'm technically not even supposed to be here anymore, but I've felt quite guilty as of late as I'd never officially acknowledged the contribution this particular person has made to my art.Recently I entered this photo in a competition and it scored me my very first Honour. Suffice to say I am quite pleased with my effort, however, I believe, had it not been for this person, I'd have probably never taken it in the first place.
The person I'm talking about is none other than Cathy, aka *pastseeker . Cathy was the first person to comment on the first shots I uploaded here and continued to give me insightful feedback as I progressed. Cathy, through her own beautiful work, inspired and encouraged me to look at the world around me in a new and exciting way. Had it not been for Cathy, I'd have probably tossed in the towel long ago, yet here I am finally producing pieces of art and not just pictures. So, Cathy, as a token of my appreciation for all your support, I hereby dedicate this to you

Gosh, Adam! When you come back, you come back with a bang! How stunning this is! The colors are amazing and I love how little space there is between sky and water. That sky is gorgeous, so pure are the colors and then we get to the sand. Makes me drool how the light plays upon the sand in that way. You have done a wonderful, wonderful job and have left me in the dust with your talent. I can only dream of doing something like this someday.
I must say that I missed your being on DA, but understand why you were away. I am so glad to see that while you were away you had not put down your camera. Your words made me cry. So unexpected that honor was. I was so happy to just see your icon showing up in my watch box. I had already hit the fav button before I had the chance to read what you wrote. Then I could not write for a moment. You stunned me not only with the beauty of your work but also what you wrote. Thank you, Adam. Thank you very much! You give me more credit then due. Your work was always outstanding, but look at you now!! Just blows me away! I am so happy for you and so happy that you won the contest. This is so very beautiful, Adam!!
