Evah knew that neither of us would have survived that night as it was and so she made sure I would survive before death claimed her. She gave me a second chance; the life I have now was her last gift to me and I will never let anyone take it from me."

While Guardians are highly skilled and can usually hold their own against large groups of bandits or common soldiers, they aren't strong enough to survive against a number of highly skilled fighters. That night half of the group that had come left to chase after Evah, leaving six skilled warriors to execute Emiris as the others would Evah. The Guardian was able to fight back and defeat all of them, but with everything he sustained the only thing that kept him moving was adrenaline and determination to find Evah. The sword wound across his back was the first and through out the battle his wing, clavicle and left arm were broken, several ribs were cracked and numerous other wounds were sustained. The only thing that kept him from dying was the healing magic from the newly formed bond. Usually used to numb any new physical attributes, the magic instead healed the other wounds just enough to keep him alive. From there the healers of the town could do the rest. In order to keep pressure off of broken bones as well as to have enough room to keep his wings in place, Emiris was lain on a thick, soft quilt in Yulia's home in front of the fireplace to ward off the autumn chill. He was unconscious for a week and in order to keep the Seraphim from taking Emiris back and hunting down Kel, Evah's family reported that he had died with her. This means that everyone from Emiris's past other than Evah's immediate family do not know he's still alive, and wouldn't believe you if you told him he was an Arean Commader. This is added to by the fact that Guardians aren't even allowed to enroll in the Caelian or Earthran armies because it would separate them from their charge. On that night Emiris became someone who no longer existed on document and therefore became an enigma who could easily drift through the territories.

As you can see from the stuff above this happened over a year in the past and aside from a fading scar on his back he doesn't look like any of these wounds ever happened.

Also, he's not completely naked under the blanket, so back of you rabid fangirls.
Yes I do feel I have to put that on there because of how some of you chat people behave.

Ehhhh, I can't think of anything else to say.

This is what I did instead of everything else like Fasnet or other more important things. Way to go me.
