After Moomy Leutogi had looked over Bark a bit, Bean dutifully returned. He'd just made a new friend; he had to hang out with him!
"What do you wanna do?" Bean chirped, bouncing around Bark like a fly around fruit. "I like your beanie! And your scarf. And your glove thingies. What happened there?" He pointed to Bark's bruised cheek for a second. The yellow staxie just watched him, quietly.
"Oooo, you wanna play dress up? Look at this!" Bean sprinted over to the costume chest by the wall. "See look!" He flung it open with lightning speed and the lid smacked against the back wall. It bounced back into his raised hand so perfectly that one could tell he'd done this before.
"There's a whole bunch of stuff in here! We got hats... And shirts... And scarfs..." Bean's head disappeared into the chest as he dug around through articles of clothing, chucking them onto the floor as he went. He could barely reach over the side of the container at his height, but after a couple of quick decisions, he retreated and showed Bark his outfit.
Wearing a fingerless, fishnet glove on one hand and a bath towel strung over his shoulders, Bean fiddled with a golden ring and decided to slip it over one of his ears. He flashed Bark an accomplished look and shakily stood up on two legs.
Bark sat a little ways away, still watching silently from where he'd been led towards the costume chest. He hadn't said anything still, but he watched Bean with dull amusement, a neutral expression on his face.
Succeeding in standing upright, Bean proceeded to dance his way around in a circle. He was all dressed up now, so he might as well put on a show! To top it all off, Bean struck a pose and yodeled as loud as he could, accompanied by a quieter chorus of moans and groans from aggravated stumps in the area.
Leutogi's voice traveled across the room, "Bean, let's be a little quieter inside, okay? Inside voices!" She sounded more than a little stressed.
"Uh huh," Bean agreed, then he dropped back down onto his four legs and scurried back over to Bark. He watched the big stump for a moment... "You don't talk much, huh? What's your name anyway?" He waited a whole three seconds before jumping to another subject.
"Hey! Wanna see my volcano I made? Moomy said I can't set it off without her supervision but--" His voice dropped down to a low murmur and he smirked at Bark with devilish eyes. "What she doesn't know won't hurt her..."

HannBo. did some Bark lore yesterday and I'm soooo excited! Now that Bean and Bark have officially met, I can draw them to my heart's content!  I mean, we've got some stuff planned so I'm not just gonna go craaazy, but I might! I might!
I was so excited to draw them together that I went ahead and did it today for MARTch day 8, and this picture also gets me to 1000 BEANS!!!     Well, my story actually gets me to 1001, but that's okay!  It's kinda crazy, but I've done it! Huzzah! I'll probably make a picture to celebrate this more formally later, but for now, I'm celebrating it here!
