The town of Staves Rest felt a bit more chaotic today... Spring was fresh upon everybody, even though the days had been growing warmer for weeks now, and while Knuckles was on his way to Koevit's Magic School he couldn't figure out what all the fuss was all about. Out here in the open, everything seemed calm as could be--
A rustle in the grass--different from the wind--made Knuckles suddenly think otherwise. He turned to be face-to-face with none other than Smeak! He was flabbergasted!
He hadn't seen Smeak for a whole year! He'd been only a little stump the last time they met, and yet, here they were again! And he had an eerily familiar request to ask of Knuckles... He'd once again, lost his eggs...

The "Smeakled Eggs" quest has returned to Staves Rest along with Smeak on April 1st, as well as... Someone else~~ Another colorful character has showed up in the world of Staves Rest and I can't wait to draw them, but that is for another time! Right now, I just wanna get this quest out of the way! The April event stuff going on this whole month is crazy and super exciting, but I wanna get my quest done now so I won't have to think about it too much later, ha ha! Since I had Knuckles do the quest last year, I figured it'd be fun and nostalgic to have him do it again this year, now that he's all grown up! (And it is!) This is part 1 of the "Smeakled Eggs" quest!
