A Totieq (toe-teeks) is a spirit guardian that protects a certain living or natural world beings with their magical aura (called patrons). This magical aura is generated by the constant movement of their ribbon like tails, which may vary in length and number depending on how strong the connection is between the patron and Totieqs.

The Totieq channels the energy of the patron, and in doing so, it takes certain objects or attributes and adds to their form.
