AESTHETIC MAGIC ‣
○ Some form of liquid magic seeps from her left eye. It appears to be suspended in place, but still looks and behaves the way a liquid would in an anti-gravity situation. Her left eye is completely white and emits a soft glow, visible through the "liquid". The magic seems to be completely aesthetic, as Astoria has no control over it - it can cause no harm, either, as passing anything through it causes it to disperse like a gas before reforming once the object passing through it is removed.
○ Atop her head sits a halo, blue and purple in color, that twinkles with miniature stars. It appears to be completely aesthetic.

Astoria, for lack of a better description, is a whirlwind. Everything she does is done for her own personal gain - whether or not someone else benefits in the process means nothing to her. That isn't to say she can't make friends, as those she does consider a friend have gained a loyal ally. She frequently makes decisions on a whim, seemingly incapable of comprehending that her consequences may have actions. She believes firmly in the idea of punching first and asking questions later - she typically has no interest in asking questions, anyway. She has a tendency to become obsessed with ideas, often to the point of denying reality - she believes that anything can be achieved if you step on enough toes. On the bright side, she is extremely enthusiastic about her ideals and, if she's in the company of like-minded people, will do just about anything to achieve their shared goals. Despite her extreme exterior, she is capable of making friends; she cherishes the friendships she does make, even if they do seem a little one-sided at times.

Astoria and her brother were born to a single mother, a mare in her mid twenties who worked as a seamstress; abandoned by her lover, the world had turned Saramune soft, and she raised her children with soft smiles and kind words. They grew up in the slums of Duae, frequently hungry and always without money. What little money Astoria’s mother made went immediately to food; fortunately the three of them lived with Saramune’s family, so they paid nothing in rent. This did, however, mean that there were eight people living in a home that hardly suited four, and so Astoria grew up in a miserable home with a broken family. She questioned her mother frequently about her father’s whereabouts, which were always either deflected or completely ignored.
In her teenage years she spent quite a lot of time on the streets of Duae, sleeping over at her friend’s or anywhere, really, to get out of her cramped family home. She didn’t realize that there were people living in better situations than her until her brother, Caelum, convinced her to take a trip to Unum; the trip changed her, and she became bitter at the world. What did they have that she did not? She saw a power there - a power that she wanted. A power that she would have.
