Description I started this weeks ago but finally made some progess last week when I was on vacation. I had my laptop with me so the basic form and coloring was done using that computer. When I got home and loaded it on my desktop I almost gagged. So, after days of messing with this I finally achieved what I was trying to do with this one. Hope you like, it's traditionally what I do, but more focus on color elements and movement this time.

Created with Ultra Fractal.

Why do I see "rock and roll show" in that? Nice work!

Hmm, got me. I was thinking of a theme park ride when I was making it, kinda like a roller coaster gone wrong.

Nice. Did any other color combos work with the design?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Aeires In reply to jondapicam [2006-08-07 20:19:58 +0000 UTC]

Actually, it started out with very warm earth tones and soft greens added in but when I transferred it from my laptop to my desktop, it looked really bad. My laptop is old and the monitor is a lot less in quality. The colors seemed to pop more with the red and white over the blue background.

They do. From the title I was think warm tones towards reds, oranges and yellows.

You can say that again...inspiration, motivation, or just out of the blue.
You seem to squeeze in time in your busy schedule to do some fractal.
And sometimes those times you produce excellent fractal/s!

I love the smoothness of this, but it somehow seems unfinished compared to your other works. The flow is excellent and I see where you are trying to take the viewer, but I would love to see more details along the way for I tend to pass through the image to the focal point almost too quickly. That might be the point though, who am I to say lol. I do hope you keep up posting, your works are some of my favorite and one of the reasons I started this fractal madness in the first place. Looking foward to more!

heraldoftruth [2006-07-30 05:58:09 +0000 UTC]

Great! The wisps of white are really spectacular especially with the small ribbon of turquoise, you should perhaps consider using them more in the future (they almost look like feathers). The colors work surprisingly well together and give it a nice dark feeling... a nice contrast to the white and the turquoise. Perhaps, in the end, there is a little too much blue for my taste and the turquoise doesn't stand out as much as I would like, but that is just my opinion... take it for what it is worth. Overall a fantastic piece, just not one completely to my taste.
