I just found an image you'd submitted into the Ultra Fractal group and thus stumbled upon your gallery. Incredible stuff, especially this one. Very detailed. I've not used or heard of Apophysis [I use ultra fractal], though I dare say I could learn a lot from what you've got here.

Good stuff .

Thanks for following the trail. I use a few fractal generators but have to admit UF is the best. Apophysis is a totally different beast though. It's free, and you can find it here: [link] if you're interested. I'll have to check out your gallery.

Nice Jeff! I didn't know that you knit!

The above is for the "Toothpaste" remark!

No, this is a very interesting pirce.

Thanks, Tom. This was a rotational piece that I highly experimented with. Remarkably I didn't zoom in hardly any at all. The horseshoe variation really added some great bulk that was great to work with.

This is just amazing apo work Love the colours and textures. You really do inspire me to get away from the spiral scripts, especially when I see something like this

Aeires In reply to Darkangel764 [2004-11-08 05:44:13 +0000 UTC]

I have only two scripts in my gallery and you'd have to really hunt to find them. I might do some in the future, but I have so much to experiment without them. The thing I like about your work is you still do a lot of tweaking after you script, so kudos to you for keeping it personalized.

Yeah you have a really good concept going on here, some mutations would be awesome, what I really like about it was the sense of depth in it, it pops out in certains places and descends back in towards the sides.

chilledsashel [2004-11-07 01:12:55 +0000 UTC]

I never saw this one of your but it is very cool man. Easily my favorite out of the ones that I have seen you make. + fav.

Thanks. I posted this one then Star Shine quickly after it, so it got lost in the shuffle. Glad you like it though.

This mutated really well, so I might go back and make some variations of it.

Thanks, Lenora. Remarkably I didn't have to zoom in on this one very much. Now if only I can figure out how to do that all the time.

Thanks. I looked at this at school and the monitor there showed a lot more detail than mine. I was surprised how full this is. Gave me that "warm" feeling knowing I named it properly.

Wow man, this is absolutely amazing. I can't believe this can be done with pure apophosis. I may have to download it. It looks like braided line.....That just blows my mind.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Aeires In reply to korpus [2004-11-04 05:01:40 +0000 UTC]

Thanks. You won't see images like this much because the overwhelming majority of people don't use the difficult formulas, but I like to push the limits and do new things. If you download apo and need help, just drop me a note. I'm always helping people with it.
