Description
Just an update as to where my embroidery stands!Every dot will be there.
Every symbol in the right order, in the right colours, on the right skirt panels.
Every filled in symbol, filled in in the same direction or manner.
I don't know if I'll be able to function after I'm done this beast.
( The cream designs are actually a VERY light baby pink... no flash and incandescent lighting make them look funny I guess? )

Yup, I'm wearing it in my other photos, though I've embroidered the eyelets onto it now and it, too, is getting a MASSIVE overhaul before I wear it to Disneyworld for Halloween!

for the time it takes, it would be very...very expensive.

Well...The custom prints are almost 20/yd and the satin was about 15. Just the cost of materials would end up being near $100 for the bodice and skirt. The outfit takes around 15 hours to make and the embroidery I'd peg at AT LEAST 30 hours.
I would never do the embroidery again, but if I made an entire, complete, costume to sell, identical to my own...it would probably be over a grand ( and that would be at $20/hr for the work...which is pretty decent, if not low in comparison to a lot of commissioners. ) 
And that wouldn't be with a wig either.
