My new Steampunk OC, Floyd Wilson
I'm happy with the design, tho I shouldve made the blade a bit bigger
and I think ill make him a red head. I dont have alot of red-headed OCs. and I think i need to add a few alterations to make him look more steampunk.Floyd Wilson (c) *aeolus06

Out the gate: I love Steampunk. It integrates this sense of style that just makes me want to drool while also being so rough around the edges that it takes rest, grime and decay and turns it into something just plain awesome when you see those gears spinning regardless of how cruddy they seem.
That guard on the sword for example: it doesn't look like much of a guard and actually looks like a lever and it could or could not be one either originally from what the sword was made from or in actuality in how it's utilized it could serve another functional purpose but you can't tell until it's revealed and that's what Steampunk throws in people's faces because it can be just as obvious as everything else or it can be so OUT there in creativity it can catch people by surprise.

Love this character, he has a charm perfect for steampunk. And the name is dead on, IMO...fits the character AND the genre equally well. Good work!

Well if you're gonna make him more "steam punky" I think this is still a really great start! Nice crisp cell shading, and the sword is pretty sweet - tho i do wonder what those cogs and mechanisms in the hilt DO...
