I remember seeing Pride and Prejudice and Zombies in a book store, picking it up and at once being overwhelmed with the feeling that my whole life had been leading up to this point. Then I put it down for fear of being disappointed.
But it's good then?

Oh, yes. And the quiz at the end is great, too (like in a literary class at high school, including "Can you imagine what this book would have been like without the zombie element?"). Parts of it are over-the-top and hilarious, other parts are gruesome and slightly ridiculous. But then, it's Jane Austen... with zombies. Some parts you may want to read aloud, to really savor their absurdity. And the author managed to weave the two plotlines together pretty well, I think.
