While I was re-reading The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern (again), I was taken by the figure of Paramour: a living statue of a woman dressed in love letters.Paramour strikes me as a very sad figure in the book. I can't say why, but when Poppet mentions that she doesn't look complete without a red rose, it strikes me that she is a rather lonely figure. She is dressed in love letters, yet she has none of her own, only the red roses from strangers who come to see her in the circus.

I cant stop looking at her dress...it is so amazingly beautiful
And paramour also stricked me as rather melancholic. In a longing for a lost love kind of way, like she wears the letters of the one she only has memories of now.

WOW! She is beautiful!!! I love her dress! Each character you draw makes me want to find the books you based the characters from and go read the book. I have the urge to cosplay her for Halloween one day, only after I read the book.
