I can see the 'wood nymph mourns' comment, but it strikes me as more of an unseelie fae kind of image. Something disturbingly beautiful crawling out of hiding. The odd perspective helps in this - it almost looks like she's somehow perched on a vertical surface, rather than a shot taken at a down angle.

The skirt being JUST the right length is interesting as well, albeit somewhat pervy. *wry grin*

well, i had to look up unseelie, but yeah, i can see that. very much so, in fact. kinda like "creepy crawler."
i think that amber would love that mixture of words... disturbingly beautiful.
yes, i've been changing my angles on a lot of pictures for weird effects like this. it's simple but powerful...
