From the moment Baz was born, she was never alone. She came into the world with three siblings: spirited Haeth, cheerful Oisin, and timid Eamon. They were all so different from one another, so different from Baz, but there had never been anything except love between them all. Times were tough, sometimes scary, yet through it all they always had each other.

The adults always told them of the Summerlands, of souls that are reborn to live many lives time and time again. If that was true, then Baz believed that the four of them must all be splinters of the same soul, reincarnated to walk the world together.

Her siblings were a part of her.

And they always would be.
