Not part of the "Link is a Jerk for Coning a Guy out of His Boots" series but part of the "Link is a Jerk for No Reason" series, this was the first side quest I completed in Breath of the Wild. This guy from Hateno Village, Manny, has his eyes set on the innkeeper, Prima, but wouldn't talk to her, so Link goes up to her and asks her what she likes. Being justifiably creeped out, she randomly tells him that she wants 100 crickets.

My problem is that if we, the player, are suppose to be Link and we were able to visibly see that she actually doesn't want crickets, that means that Link saw that she didn't want crickets. Even so, he tells Manny "Hey, your girl wants crickets! You better get on that, son." Maybe he did it because she called Link a weirdo, but seriously, Link is just gonna get Manny trouble.

This story wasn't resolved, though. I just handed him some crickets and that was it. Did Manny get the rest of the crickets? Is he going to actually give them to her? Did Prima lose her job because no one in the inn were getting any rest from the restless crickets? NINTENDO, I NEED TO KNOW!
