Description ruins of a bunker from the 2nd World War
built by the nazis and demolished in the time of soviet occupation in the East Germany

its fascinating to see how fast nature is getting the terrain back. the entrance beam is still intact, after more then 60 years.
nevertheless, if we don't watch out, all our hitech palaces out of steel, concrete and glass will look like this faster then we can think

Ah, this is just beautiful! I live in (north) germany but never saw something like this. I love how it looks so calm and powerful at the same time

Es gibt schon noch einige Relikte aus den Zeiten, irgindwo sogar ein kilometerlanges Stück Autobahn mitten im Wald.
Das hier ist auf nem privaten Flughafengelände, den Bunker sieht schon nicht jeder^^
Es gibt noch den Bunker Eichenthal, sogar mit Führung

Ahhhh, das hört sich so toll an! <3 Obwohl... Ich merke gerade, dass ich ein wenig gelogen habe. In unserem Wald gibt es auch einen kleinen alten Bunker der von der Natur umringen ist. Ich werde bald mal versuchen ein gutes Foto davon zu machen

It's funny, because in all these post-apocalyptic movies, this is pretty much the type of scenery they show, where Nature has begun cleansing the Earth, taking over and integrating what we've built back into nature. And you know what, this is my favorite part of any such movie, because there's a beauty to it when you see Nature returning as it were, before we erected tall concrete buildings and other structures

I also like those scenes, years ago alot of my scribbles contained post-apocalyptic looking buildings
In digital art, I paintid only once something of this topic because its quite complicated and needs alot time.. lazy bum, I know XD
