First, I want to thank for creating the vial I used in this piece.

A lot of thought went into this set of prayer beads. I wanted something fitting, so I went to the local bead store and spent 2 hours selecting the specific beads for this piece and its companion piece, Hades.

I saw the Green Amber and instantly knew it was the perfect bead. The exact shade of green so captured my feelings about Persephone, I didn't hesitate. The issue then was finding other colors that would match and yet still contribute to the feel of the piece!

I wound up using three antique Germanic Bone beads, which I also used on the Hades piece to show the two deities' bond to each other. I also incorporated the tourmaline for its soft pink hue. I chose the onyx because I love the feel of the stone in my hand, it's very unique.

This piece has thirteen beads, because that's my lucky number. I divided it into 9, 3, and 1 bead(s), because I also resonate with those numbers and they strike me as divine.

It's an amazing piece
I love seeing prayer beads. This one is really amazing. Very feminine. I see in it the "spring" face of Persephone

(pff, you are so lucky to have a bead store with stone beads TT-TT I must shop those on the internet and it's not my fave place for stone of any kind ... :s)

Thank you! I have to admit, I'm particularly fond of this piece. And yes, I'm super lucky! The store is amazing, the people there are super friendly, and they have walls of stone beads. The only down side is it's pretty expensive. So I usually only shop there for focal pieces, or more expensive/rare stones, like this green amber here. <3
