() Loyal- Gael will put the herds needs above his own. He will go out of his way to help his fellow herd members, be it guard them, help them gather or watch over foals. Although he is a Warrior Gael will always lend a hoof to those who need it.

() Kind Spirited- Gael absolutely loves children. He will play with them when his guarding duties are not required. Many times his mane and tail have been braided with feathers and pretty stones the children have collected. Though he will deny any such claims.

() Easily Stress- Although it takes a lot to get Gael to be angry, he does stress very easily. Due to his blessing, Gael will teleport during times of stress. Some of the foals tease Gael into a rage only to watch him teleport into hilarious positions.

() Dominant- True to his warrior teachings, Gael can be extremely dominate at times, especially when training. Many fellow warriors either love or hate to train with Gael because he will 'go all out', pushing himself physically to be stronger for the herd.

() Self Reliant- While Gael loves to help others, when dealing with this own problems he would much rather handle them himself.

() Strict- Gael is very strict when it comes to the Seroran Commandments. He scolds any who take more then they need and those who refuse to help others.

() Cautious- When approaching a new face, or new anything, Gael is extremely cautious. His warrior training demanding him to be wary of anything not familiar. It also takes him much longer to trust another horse. Many get annoyed that they've known Gael for years and he still gives them a guarded look.

() Ritualistic- Gael has a strict schedule he goes through daily. Interrupting his routine will mess Gael's entire day. Because of this trait, Gael is very thorough with any task, but if something is out of order or he is interrupted, Gael has to start all over again. Some simple tasks turn into hour long 'adventures' due to things not being correct.

History

"Let us bond between light and dark and pray for Alya's smile."

Gael was born in the grand city of Osulas to a Gatherer mother and an Heavy Hoof father in between migrations. Nadia, Gael's dam, is a beautiful rose dapple grey while his sire, Roule is a dark golden palomino paint. Roule was a guard for a small migratory group of five gatherer family's, Nadia and five other herd mates. Roule fell in love with Nadia's calm and gentle nature and the two would often stand and talk together for hours on end. They married under a beautiful dusk sky and many months later a colt was born. He was strong and golden like his father and calm and dappled like his mother. They named him Gael, as it reminded them of the gentle winds that blew through the city, hoping it was Alya blessing the birth of their child. They had noticed that their foal has been blessed with the gift of teleportation. Many times the colt would be sound asleep in his room and the next moment he would crash into a table a few feet from his room.

"Train to protect the herd and those you love. Leave it not to others."

Gael grew very quickly, sporting rather lanky legs and strong muscles. He was an excellent student, soaking in any information his mentor gave him. Nadia and Roule were very proud of their golden sun of a boy. When Gael was 7 years old, Naida gave birth to a sickly gold filly. Many feared she would not survive the night. Gael stayed by his sister's side the entire night, talking constantly about the world he wanted to share with her. By some miracle, the filly survived and many prayers to Alya were said. The filly was named Ellice, fragile but beautiful sounding. After his apprentice duties, Gael would rush home to Ellice and tell her all about the lessons that day, often times bringing flowers and pretty stones to decorate her bedside. Nadia and Roule thought that combined with Alya's support and Gael's constant presence, that Ellice survived longer than anyone could have possibly imagined. Gael played with Ellice daily, hoping to make her stronger. They would often chase each other around the outside of their home, Ellice claiming Gael to be a cheat when he would randomly teleport during their games. While in his apprenticeship, Gael had learned the ways of the Warrior, but had learned very little about his blessing. He understood that under times of stress he would teleport but beyond that he had no idea on ways to control it. Gael would disappear for hours trying to induce a teleportation, going as far as to challenge much older and stronger colts to spar in hopes of gaining knowledge on how to control his blessing.

When Gael was 17, Ellice 10, Nadia gave birth to another colt, white covering half of his body and gold shining underneath. He was perfectly healthy save for his eyes, or lack there of. He was named Cecil, in hopes that he would be strong even without his sight. Gael is very protective over his siblings. Any bully who dared to tease Ellice got a face full of angry hoof prints. Many of the other children stayed away from Cecil due to his creepy appearance but Gael and Ellice would always play with him when they had the time. Cecil attached himself to Gael, often riding on his brother's back while Ellice trotted along side them.

"Watch over those who cannot watch themselves. Protect them with your life."

Gael learned the ways of the Warrior rather quickly, both from his father and his apprenticeship. From his size it was decided that he would be a Heavy Hoof and would travel with the migratory groups. Gael was both excited and sad on this decision. On one hoof he wanted to stay close to his family but on the other hoof he greatly wanted to see the world. Gael had grown to be a fine Warrior, strong yet graceful like his mother, save for his blessing's mishaps. Ellice had taken to a great liking to healing and thus began the path of a Medicine Horse. Cecil had proven to be quite the little spark. He had much more energy than Gael when he was still a foal and possibly equally as clumsy. Without his eyes Cecil has some difficulty getting around without the aid of another. His hearing and sense of smell greatly increased to make up for the lack of sight. Usually he can tell what herbs he is smelling and knows what they can be used for. Roule and Nadia hope that he will be a Medicine Horse like Ellice but Cecil raves with his head and tail raised high that he will be a Warrior like his father and brother, much to his mother's dismay.

Gael still does not control over his blessing in the slightest but he knew the signs moments before he would teleport. His belly would fill with butterflies as if he was excited and his legs would tingle as if they were asleep.
