I have never been entirely happy with this model. So i decided to hit it HARD.Wheels, spoilers, front bumper (front fender for my U.S friends), and seats have been completely re-modelled.
I didn’t like the original BBS's so I added some TE37's for a stronger "street racing" vibe.
I used a modified version of my usual studio setup which gave a softer/smoother and overall warmer rendering style.
Models are fully poly. Modelled in entirely in Catia V5, rendered using Mental ray in Maya 8.5.
Render times for two phase rendering:
Occlusion phase: 2mins
Colour phase: 1h 12mins
Compiled in PS CS3

I usually prefer blue..but that Red RX is simply cherry looking. Very nice
