I have nothing to say about this one, really... If it's not the fact that I smoothed it out too much, too evenly - that is totally possible. Sometimes you want that rough graphite texture to be visible there, so poking everything with a smoothing tool isn't a great idea (it ate a lot of detail)... I only left the eye and mouth crisp, obviously. Graphite in an A6 sketchbook.
It's mostly just shading practice, as always. Darkened the muzzle and around the eye to give some contrast and realism (most horse colors have dark skin), plus it makes the details more visible.
