Description
An ACEO trade with lovely ! The creature in this card is one of her very unique own species: Kanjeera. I tried to capture a wildness of this species in the pose because as ~almaticani has described, being able to ride this creature means that a boy has become a man. So it should not be an easy task to do!This card caused me troubles because somehow I managed to ruin the sky. I was quite happy with the character and the stones so I didn't want to draw a whole card over again after I realized that the sky was a disaster, so tried to save it by painting over it with acrylics. Well, it worked well in case of hiding old, ugly sky but now the new sky is so bright that it is stealing the attention from lighter character – which of course should be the main focus…
Oh well, if the sky didn't burn your eyeballs let me know what do you think.

En kyllä tiedä, mistä suunnasta toi oranssi valo hahmoon hohkaa, mutta ajattelin sen tuovan vähän lisää eloa kuvaan ja sitovan hahmoa taustaan paremmin.

The skies are totally okay there is a healthy enough of a contrast
so he just pops right out there. I love it so much.
But I also love the way you did the stones, they look so natural
(not like those I do, they look like feeble squiggles).

Despite all the troubles sky caused, I really enjoyed drawing this card; it was actually happy accident that the sky didn't turn out well in the first place so I had a chance to try how acrylics work in ACEO size.
The character itself was really nice to draw - I love your creative creature designs!
Stones were of course inspired your Almatica landscapes but I ended up exaggerating details on them...
But good that you like the result!
As usual the original looks better than this scanned version; you can see details and textures better.
I will send the card to you on Monday; hopefully it arrives soon!

Thank you for noting me that the card has arrived safely! It always makes me happy to hear that my ACEOs have found their way safely to their new homes.
So far post has lost one card I have sent and one someone sent me... so it cannot always taken for granted that they arrive. Of course there are stories post arriving years after sending so hopefully those lost cards are just on their way... One must never loose hope.

In addition of getting exchanged cards it is always nice to see what kind of stamps and envelopes and card protectors people use when they send ACEOs. I have seen lots of creative solutions!

Because of this conversation I bought a bunch of shiny envelopes and pretty stamps!
I tried to find some pretty stickers also but didn't succeed with that... luckily I still have some of those old ones left.
Oh and should try to make my own patterned papers for cover letters!
