First fan art for The Buccaneer of Nemaris!Well, in all fairness, it is actually a commission by the wonderful and talented but still qualifies, as far as I'm concerned.
This is for what I hope to be a kickstart in the fanart category of what will (probably paid for by me) be a 'leading ladies' gallery.
This is how I picture Acadia, a mermaid who lives near the Nemaris Islands. She is a student of the land, who is skilled in both penmanship and reading as well as human customs such as dinner utensils and folklore. Acadia is a person who is courageous in her convictions and often acts on impulse - often doing what must be done rather than what seems safe or "proper."

ohhhh, i knew I should have worked fast enough! XD
As you can guess from the statement above, I was developing some pics related to the buccaneer of the nemaris book and some could have been finshed as early as yesterday. but alas, o' mice and men and evrything. It does look rather good and i look forward to see what else appears in this series. The book itself grows more Intriguing with each chapter.
and now, i must work even harder to get those pics i mentioned up for you to see. ^^

o h i wasn't putting my art down, its just i cursed my timing becasue i wanted to post some of the first art for the book now that i got a better handle from reading it. but they'll be up soon.
