An original drawing!This only looks good because I am an expert at cutting, pasting, and sketching overlays of something else.
It is of my original character, Shelly. She is currently sitting upon a rock near her home, about 100 miles west to south west of Catalina Island in California. This is from before her time ashore as a human, when she has lived alone for much of her teenage years. At this point in her life, she is longing to be with someone other than dolphins and fish... anyone, even humans.
I have given her a pretty dark background, but ever since she came ashore she's forgotten those ways and adapted to human life. I'll post her bio in the future.
I used several pieces for reference on this one.

Arms: From a lineart of Luchia - sorry, I do not know who made the lineart!

With a few textures, Shelly turned out okay. Now only if I knew how to draw faces....

I know, I'm terrible at drawing people. The two of them are just different backgrounds. But they were two different linearts, a little bit of copy-pasting, and an outline of Pride Rock - for me, it means a lot. But yeah, it won't wow anyone at the trade shows.
