Somehow, Gregory made his way to Neverland for a brief stay - maybe Jeanette gave him a birthday wish or something. (Or, knowing him, he spoke at the wrong time.) However it happened, he happened to have a copy of his book along. And since he was in Neverland, he decided he'd do something he'd always wanted to do.

Neverland mermaids, it is said, absolutely love stories. So long as you keep them entertained and don't wear nightdresses (which Gregory never wears!) they're generally not half bad. Should your story end, however, you'd better come up with another story fast!
