Shelly and Greg have just gone for a swim after their boat capsized, and Greg, like an idiot, forgot to bring his pearl. Thus, Shelly was forced to bring Greg to shore, and did her best Ariel impression in the process...

Actually, I got bored this past spring and thought it'd be cool to see Shelly and Greg in that classic TLM pose. So, a $10 commission later I asked for two characters and sketched the lineart. She did good work. The goal was to then learn to shade on this piece, and while I got a good start on Shelly's tail and eyes, that's as far as I got. I probably haven't worked on this since half past June, and the project may as well be posted at this point since the flats are finished and the characters are recognizable.

Guess it looks okay. At least I can say the lineart came out good.
