Alright, I'll explain the pictures in a bit, but first, I'm apologizing. I had a great plan to color this all, shading and everything, with the last 9 panels being fake anime screenshot thingies (because I've always wanted to do those >.<). But because I'm the queen of procrastination, I just finished sketching it today. And there is no way I'll be able to finish coloring all of this today. So regrettably, you're stuck with my lame monochromatic sketches ;-; sorry.

Okay, so this is for 's contest, with the theme being "What If?" And if you can't tell, my idea was what if Honeyfrost had told Midnightclaw everything right from the get-go. So, here goes my little explanation thing... bear with me on this.

So, the way I see it, Midnightclaw always missed her mother's affection. She grew up craving that love and as she matured, the need for maternal love shifted to the need for sexual love. Which is where Scourge comes in. Midnightclaw wanted to be with Scourge, she wanted him, a cold-blooded cat, to love her. But as we all hopefully know, Scourge dies. However, Midnightclaw's love for him remained and she formulated a plan for revenge. Until the day a young blonde she-cat enters the forest. Once Midnightclaw learns that she indeed had a mother who loved her, even when she was gone, she slowly starts to let go of her hopeless longing. As her sister grew, Midnightclaw began relinquishing all of her hatred, instead finding joy in her new tiny family. However, not everyone was pleased wit this development...

And as if that wasn't enough writing, I'll put little summaries of each panel, because I have a feeling they're hard to follow >.<

Panel 1: A Wild Honeyfrost appears!
Panel 2: Talking.
Panel 3: Talking + a bit of a back story
Panel 4: Honeyfrost used logic!
Panel 5: It was super effective!
Panel 6: My idea, basically
Panel 7: Midnightclaw asking Firestar if Honeyfrost (then Tsume) can begin training in Thunderclan
Panel 8: During the journey to the lakes, Honeyfrost almost falls to her death, luckily, Midnightclaw caught her
Panel 9: Plotting revenge and such
Panel 10: During the badger attack, Midnightclaw gets sneak-attacked
Panel 11: Nothing like some sisterly love (and because of the badger swiping Midnight's face, she lost her hair chunk thing)
Panel 12: The lil'uns appear, Silver, Golden and Little
Panel 13: Midnightclaw gives up on her scheme for revenge
Panel 14: But that pisses Tigerstar off, so he takes out his revenge during the Dark Forest battle (was gonna add stripes when I colored it, hence the lack of stripes :I)
Panel 15: However, Midnightclaw's mother (because they're both dead now) approves of her daughter's decisions

Well crap :I Not only did y'all have to suffer from my boring sketches, but I've now unleashed upon you a torrent of words. If you read ALL of this, may the gods smile upon you for all eternity.
