Vash the Stampede from Trigun.I drew this a while ago but I only finished just recently. I felt more determined to finish this since my friend passed away. I guess its because he's the one who introduced me to the series.
As well as morals on life & death, the series also has a lot of focus on situations when losing a loved one. Its not easy but the characters are able to move on.

I'm sorry for your loss... and yes, Vash is someone who lost many, but still managed to keep on going forward.
He's a good one, through and through.
Nicely colored, and given when he had doughnuts on the ground, I can understand why you'd return to this picture after such a painful loss.
Hang in there... a day will come when memories of happy times stop hurting, and become a comfort again.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend. One of my friends died this summer and I know it's tough to deal with. I think this was a wonderful way to pay tribute to what you shared together!
