Description I wanted to rig Dark Gaia for a long time, so here it is. The background is just bad but it's the only lava map I have, people should make some more XD.
The detail texture isn't helping, that green thing doesn't dissapear; if anyone knows how to fix that, please let me know.
The model looks a lot better in other maps by the way.

so how do i turn a model/map from models resource into a blender model so then i can turn it into a sfm modelΒ

You just need to download The Blender Source Tools so that you can export and import an .smd model (The previos format of .mdl for SFM). The models from the Models Resource most likely come in .smd, .dae or .obj. Blender can import those formats by it self.
Once you have the model you will need to create a qc file (search con Google) and then you will need to compile it. You can find others details in a tutorial. Good luck!

Sorry, I think I misunderstood. The rig was made on Blender, you can find a tutorial on Youtube. I just downloaded the model. Then I made the rig and exported the model to SFM with Crowbar

Crowbar is a decompiler and componer program. Just type "Crowbar download" on Google and it should appear.

Yeah, maps are one of my biggest problems when using Sfm, I must to use the same maps over and over again because there arent too many of them.
