Now this is a review from the standpoint of not just this piece but kind of a general view of more recent works of yours. I want to point out that i do enjoy your work tremendously and even wrote a short essay on your work for one of my art classes at university which was filled with nothing but praise for your body of work.
Vision- For a grand vision as to what your body of work could stand for im not going to attempt to identify and understand. I personally don't find much in your work that jumps out at me in terms of, this is what im about, this is what i stand for, this is what defines me. I do however see a distinct style that you have seemed to mastered. However that's my problem. Im personally not seeing the bigger picture of your artistic vision beyond this style.
Originality- now we get to a sticky situation here with the whole concept of originality. In terms of this work though, i dont see much about it that really makes it a wholly original and unique concept in both execution and idea. I can look to your gallery for dozens of more of something that is the equivalent of this and even if it wasnt for you providing a body of work that mimics this its not really that revolutionary of a concept. Its a human face. Translucent almost. Nothing really original there.
Technique- Absolutely superb. Its very well executed and combines this hazy dream like feel with this crisp harshness that really takes form in the eyes. It shows some control of knowing how to direct your audience around an image and is something you can obviously reproduce with great result. My only criticism is ide like to see something different from you. I want to see what the next big thing from you is. I want to see something crazy different from you.
Impact- The truth is i will forget about this picture shortly after leaving this page. Its a sad fact that many artist have to deal with. But this is not a hugely impact full work. Mostly because you've done so many pieces that are so much like it that it looses any independence it could have had.
I know this comes off as a rather negative review, But i want you to take something positive from my criticism and i want you to understand it is in no way a reflection on you as a person. I think you are a vary capable artist and i want to see even greater things from you in thee future.

it's not really a problem, but more of a bump along the road as an artist masters a style. eventually one has to take risk and veer off the path of comfort and something you're good at. I love your style, at least it is better than my portraiting comfort zone. your faces are always mesmerizing.

Anyway, thanks to remember me my limits, I think that with time I'll grow up or I'll disappear from here, not for choice but for a natural path

To me, this piece is a lot deeper than some of your more recent works. Not that I don't like them.. but this one stands out a lot more.
The added dimension you've created due to the overlapping faces is (in my opinion) wonderfully executed. There's a really serene sense of balance in this piece.. even though at first glance everything seems so chaotic. Plus, I love how effortlessly this piece has grown on me in just the past 10 minutes.
The eyes do a great job of drawing you in. And the soft pinks and purples that you've used help create a comforting atmosphere. It's really hard to imagine this piece with a different set of colors.. but I think that's because the colors you ended up using work so incredibly well.
I'm only giving you 4 stars on originality because people have seen photos and drawing of somewhat similar ideas (which doesn't mean anything because of how fantastic this piece is. Im just being honest). But Vision and Impact deserves AT LEAST 6 or 7 stars. And then maybe an extra star on Technique but I don't wanna go overboard.
In the end, it's the balanced combination of entropy and harmony that make this piece so... divine.
