This piece just draws you in right away (if you'll pardon the pun, budum tshh).
The instant I saw it I just wanted to take a closer look at it. This painting has, what pretty much all of the others have, which is some kind of hidden story. The differences in color and expression on the characters fading faces give it a shroud of mystery and beauty.
I also enjoy how the face of the man is clearly etched out and yet the women's is hardly recognizable, and the changing of the colors in and out of the prism is a really well done effect.

This image is truly beautiful.
I love how you used the black triangle to represent a prism, and the separation of the two. The female is light and airy, until her hand passed though the prism and then she turns to hard lines to stroke the face of her "lover".
The lines of the image draw your eyes to center of the image where you can tell the contrasting expressions of the two beings faces, giving you deeper contradiction of opposites.
The composition of the image truly speaks for itself, however much can still be left up to the interpretation of the viewer.
I would love to have this hanging on my wall.

I thought this piece of art was beautiful,
it caught my eye indeed.
I do agree with createdisney, the black line is a bit distracting,
but everything else is perfect.
The color choice is equally lovely.
I especially love the fact that the colors expresses the mood and feelings of each person.
The story this drawing shows is the best feature of it all.
A nice, bright girl bringing a boy out of a depression or
an era of sadness. I can't wait to look at more of your art.
You have amazing talents and should put it to good use.

Things that I see is not only the pic it self .
About color using and composition of this picture , there's already many words and I don't wanna say it more , The only thing I want to say is this creature gives me feeling , not only visual enjoyment but more than that ,much more than that .
Yes , I call it creature . I think this work had life ,although it's simple , but it's touching , the motion of two faces gives viewer a really strong visual impact , and we can know many stories from that .
In the end , I have to admit that I'm also dreaming for a girl like that , a kind & beautiful spirit , to save me from sad and nightmares .

And one more word , I think you can getting hardly a low score on this site ,because people have choice , if they don't like your article ,they will not click in ,so you can easily find full screen of good words ,but to hear a against advice is difficult .
So in my opinion , when you feel bad ,or disappoint or something like this ,you can come to this BBS-thing ,and you will get happy -- no matter how pathetic the work is (I'm not meaning yours, I like'em),there's always someone like it .

To do is simple , many people can do that , billions of people learning how to draw every year ,you are not the first one ,and never the last ,so I say that's lower because it's can finish by many people .
But the point of an artist is different from a drawer is his mind , his idea , you have a special idea ,you win all the world ,otherwise you are just another guy .
A simple example ,Iphone ,we use it from I to V ,but the design didn't change too much ,only small edition ,but this design still considered as one of the best design of cell phone , and it's still leading the fashion year after year .
As this reason , I give the technique a lower score not because it's bad , it's just others are too high .

I found this to be very creative and colorful.
The colors are beautiful,I really like how you used rainbow for the happy girl/women and depressing colors for the boy/man.
This makes me feel very sad but special.

The artist's use of black and white in the man are well done, and the use of the reds, oranges, and yellows on the bottom of the man are a good use of warmer colours to lighten up the black and white. It also gives you the illusion that the man could fade back into lighter, more pastel colours given enough room.
With the women the transition of black and white in the hand and forearm, to blue in the upper arm, to pastel colours in the face and torso area was well done, and the colours are all very well blended together.
This piece is clearly thought out, with the way that colours are placed and blended together. The only aspect that I didn't like was the bold, black line in the middle. I understand why it's there, but (and this is just personal preference) I think that the painting would have been better without it. I feel that it's too bold for this transition piece.
Overall this is a great piece and with all the others you've done using these mediums, I think that you will be able to go far in the art industry.

In my opinion I think this was amazingly done, the definition looked outstanding and I don't think anyone could have done this better. The black and white to water color was well done. Overall very good. I've seen other people try to do this kind of transition from black in white to watercolor and it didn't come out to well. I can't get over how much I love this. Everyone has their own talents and I think I just found yours and I think you should continue in this particular type of art. You could hopefully go far in this. ^.^

As opposed to some of your other works, that are details yet seem pretty straight forward and simple- this piece really inspires me to say something.
The warmth and color of the feminine character is really lovely. The expression on her face and the flow within her being of color and light is really up lifting.
The grays of the man seem so straight forward but I feel like the blood of color near the lower part of his figure really add some mystery or for some people might be quite obvious.
I feel like they are sharing a moment. Something special that I am witnessing. It makes me heart flutter to know her light is infecting him and perhaps his darkness is infecting her.
Wonderful piece, very inspiring and heartfelt.

The impact on this blows me away. It makes me think of a love story. Possibly an angel and a soul cursed in hell have fallen in love. As a piece of art, it is an orchestrated masterpiece.
I say orchestrated as this piece looks so brilliant and full of emotion, like music you tend to unfortunately overlook the instruments and the work, when I look at this painting, I see the careful brushstrokes, and the wild ones, and I love it
