I know the feeling. Happened to me today actually(similar) about not being cared about as a medic and people keep trying to make me pocket...nope i wont do it.

Had this happened to me a couple times.
Also had someone yell at me because I didn't pocket him. :\ I told him the team comes first- then when everyone is healed and not screaming 'MEDIC!'-- then I'll pocket.
He tried to go on saying that the medic's job was to heal 'only' the heavy. I lol'd. I refused to heal him the whole time, then he rage quit. ;D

It can be so unforgiving playing as a Medic! I don't follow the pocket philosophy either.

So true. Medic's aren't appreciated as much. Medics turn the tide of the battle- if you don't protect them, your whole team is screwed.
To many times I would try to pocket someone, then I wouldn't be protected, get hurt, fall back, and they leave me to die. Such a cruel world.
And then people wonder why Battle Medics are raising up. ;D

Sometimes friendly fire should be turned ON. At least medic has slight health regeneration
