Description
Couldn't think of a title, so now the dragon gets a long, complicated name. ^^This is an acrylic painting that's about six years old. The photo I took of it didn't come out great; but it'll suffice.

photo + aclyric? I though it was 100% pencil colors.. XD Altough it's old, it's beautiful, the dragon seems very proudful with its freedom.

Lovely stuff. The lighting that you did that peers through the clouds is awesome. The dragon is quite small though, doesn't really seem to be the attention of this piece. Good job on the reflection of the water too. You're extremely good at textures I've noticed.

I wanted the dragon to be a part of the landscape, rather than the focus of the piece. The sky in the photograph I was painting was so breathtaking, after all; it seemed more important.

Fantastic work....I certainly wish I could paint like this in acrylics. I have found it hard to master, even though I have only recently started dabbling with traditional painting. One thing it has taught me is to admire and respect traditional art even more than I perviously did.
This painting has a spectacular setting, youv'e certainly used light to your advantage. I especially like the way the ocean looks, reflecting the morning (?) sun. The dragon too, looks superb... although I do have one issue with it. The wings look slightly odd in relation to the body of the dragon. The body seems to be viewed from a side perspective, a profile almost. However the wings look like they are on a body that should be facing forward...albeit slightly at an angle? It's just the impression I get.

The lighting and the dragon are both so cool! ^_^ Great piece. Looks to me that she (he? it?) has swooped a bit to get more air, in just a moment the dragon is going to flap its mighty wings once and go soaring into the sky!
