Opting to stay calm and silent, you noiselessly head for the bushes, head held low as you hide. The bushes were quite dense, managing to cover you well, the dogs barks and howls fading into the distance. Now that the initial threat was over, it was dire time you look for shelter. You cross the river, belly deep in water. After exiting the river and shaking off you leave the area, lifting your head up you;
A] Decide to spend the night by the river bank
B] Decide to spend the night in a nearby cave
C] Decide to spend the night among the bushes

The last few days had been tough for Arthur. Being chased by dogs wasn’t exactly fun, and during the time he was hiding from them up in the mountains, a series of interesting events had happened. He had met Charlie, formed and friendship and then parted, as well as cause a rockslide completely unintentionally. Huffing, the stallion now found himself alone once more, the stallion holding his head low as he trudged through the thin layer of snow that coated the ground. Winter was nearing its end, and the first signs of Spring were starting to fight its way through the ground, sweet tufts of grass now sprinkled the snowy landscape.
Almost silently, Arthur had made his way off the mountain without any more interruptions, the cold of winter nothing compared to the cold harsh winds of the mountain. He found himself back at the same river he was mere days ago, the sounds of dog’s barking echoing in his memory. Luckily, the dogs seemed to have left the area when Arthur did, their scent old and musky on the winter night’s wind. Stifling a yawn, the large stallion took a small swig of the river water, shivering as the cold liquid flowed down his throat. He sure didn’t miss having to swim in that.
Arthur pondered as to where to stay for the night, knowing it wasn’t exactly safe to travel at night. He saw some bushes only a few horse lengths away, and if he squinted hard, Arthur thought he could see the mouth of a cave in the distance. Shaking his head, the stallion raised his gaze across the river, his eyes locking with that of a deer. There were two deers in fact, one of them with child. It seemed clumsy and disorientated, like it was struggling to walk through the snow, and a small smile crossed his lips. If those three were happily choosing to stay here, then it was definitely safe for him too.
Nodding his head in acknowledgement at the three deers, he took a few steps away from the river bank, choosing to rest in a small but surprisingly thick patch of grass, the large stallion happily nibbling at the sweet grass for a few moments before falling into a light slumber, waking up every hour or so to check on his surroundings. The does seemed to trust Arthur enough to choose to rest by the river too, the little fawn yawning loudly before curling into a tight ball by its mother’s side. It was definitely a cute sight, and Arthur always kept them in the back of his mind. Tonight, he wasn’t just watching out for himself, but for the three strangers just across the river…
