.RANDOM EVENT.
Arthur wanders the plains, searching for something of interest. Seeing a small shape of something in the distance, thunder rumbles over his head. Almost in an instant, rain comes pouring down on him, bright flashes of lightning everywhere and almost deafening thunder roaring loudly. The rain was almost like a sheet over his eyes, Arthur could barely see a thing past his own nose.
A) Search for shelter
B) Continue onward, no rain gonna stop this bad boi

What a cold evening. Shuddering, Arthur continued to wander around the plains that surrounded the mountains, no trees daring to try to grow near or on the rocky terrain the mountains ruled over. Winter was being as harsh as expected, the rocky ground under hoof crunching as the ice broke as the stallion trudged along. It wasn’t so much like snow at this moment of time, more like a cold slush, seeping into the souls of his feet and causing the stallion to shudder. Arthur was definitely looking forward to Spring and the more warmer weather it brought with it.
The sky grew steadily darker as he proceeded to make his way along the plain, the stallion having to squint as he saw a small shape on the horizon. What it was he couldn’t be sure. For one thing it was quite a distance away, and although he hadn’t noticed it before, but a loud storm had snuck up on him, causing vision to be somewhat lacking. Thunder boomed over head as the heavens unleashed a huge rainstorm, the water bucketing down and causing the stallion to be soaked in mere seconds.
Arthur frowned and pulled his ears back in distaste, not particular enjoying the bitterly coldness of the rain. Winter storms were the worst the stallion had decided. He paused for a moment as he scanned the surroundings for possibly shelter, before shaking his head and turning his gaze back into the direction of the small shape. He had a nagging feeling in his gut, and Arthur knew he couldn’t forgive himself if that shape was an animal in distress. Especially in this sort of weather… Nothing good ever came from withstanding such intense elements.
Snorting, the large stallion picked up the pace, lowering his head as he trotted against the storm, rain pelting his eyes as he squinted as hard as he could. He could barely see the small form of something up ahead, but he continued his stubborn march towards it, frowning as the rain seemed to get heavier and heavier.

It was decided, he was far too gone now to try to stop and turn back for shelter. Whatever it was, Arthur was determined to bring whatever it was along with him, even if he had to drag it to shelter. His stubborn arse wouldn’t have it, especially now that he was soaked to the bone. It was happening.

I am actually quite proud of this background... I usually suck at rainy scenes but I am REALLY feeling this scenery mate... Like I can HEAR the rain pouring down on poor Arthur lol!
