Beautiful shot ! (was the title a reference to Pink Floyd ?) Gives me some ideas for a further CG work !

It's funny how the subject of this picture is actually very small in real life but when I look at this I feel so overwhelmed. ahhh it's so cool how pictures can have that effect on people!!! this is so beautiful :]

That's so cute again. Thanks sweetie ... I've got more and more an idea of photomanip on that thing, like a man walking in this "forest"....hum... i'll have to figure it out one day

haha you should totally do it!! that would look so cool! do you work in photoshop or some other program?

Ai-Shuu In reply to Kitty-Kat-Lover [2010-06-16 23:29:11 +0000 UTC]

Yep, I use photoshop, and basically, that's all (Arcsoft Panorama Maker for the panoramas, and the adobe suite for the others medium as videos and print stuff). But yeah, basically i only use photoshop for the artworks in my gallery .

Using photoshop it's kind of cheating, but that's always better to use it, to give a more specific ambient, the exact same one you wanted to show. For example, on this one I only decreased the saturation, and that's it. But sometimes I add a bunch of stuff, it depends...

Globally I try to not use it, but it's tough , it's better improve taking pictures than photoshoping i suppose.

well i mean, i don't think using photoshop is a bad thing at all. because it is a skill to be able to use it! i have it on my computer but i've never taken a class on computer graphics so i don't actually know how to use it. i play around in it a lot though, so i can navigate myself around the program pretty well. but i'm going to be taking a class on it next year so maybe i'll finally be able to use it properly. lol

I'm currently thinking about giving lectures of photoshop, like casually, next year, to pay my studies and stuff... I'd be so glad to give you some !
I dont know if it's gonna work or not, but i'd love too !

Photoshop is quite easy to use. The thing is, you have just a huge bunch of possibilities to do the same thing, and sometime that makes people getting confused. To understand photoshop, i think you have to learn features by features (thats my opinion ), tutorials are a good think to do so... but classes are like the best

you should do itt!!! what i really want to know is about textures and stuff. because i've heard about them but have no idea how to use them. also coloring my artwork. i was thinking about making illustrations for this story my friend wrote. but i don't know how to go about coloring my pictures to make it so they look legit.

Makes me feel like I'm in some enchanted forest, though one that has some Willy Wonka in it.
