Description
White and Indigo fused grid, Clear and Purple punty-worked pieces (no flameworking, aaaaaaaaall on the stick). Eventually there may be a Stained Glass border and box that the playing field rests on for storing the pieces, but I'm graduating on Saturday so it may have to wait until I have some form of "studio" set up.

This was my Glassblowing III senior project; ordinarily my professor has us do a matching set of 6 tumblers and a few goblets for this level, but I pitched this idea last semester and she changed my curriculum to see this happen.

Months of constant trial and error, being forced to really conceptualize how to make certain features happen with glass, and a LOT of help from some awesome TA's brought this vision to fruition, and it's one of my strongest works yet. Also, making 50 pawns makes you pretty damn good and repeating shapes, lol.
