i am earth
an earth of my own, with
immense gravity as to hold
my many moons, my subjugate bodies
that whirl around me in a slow dance
celestial waltz;

i use my astral projection
to possess alternate personae,
my soul's satellites, when i see fit
and hide from the aches and pains
of mother nature wreaking havoc
on my home planet

and as i move, the axis of gravity
moves along with me, warping the
pleochroic rings of my conscience,
distorting them

what am i
but a disorganized nebula
a confused mass of gas and debris
mindless amalgamation
of individual entities
with minds of their own
