Description
This is my first deviation after a break of about 2 months. I'm very sorry for neglecting DeviantArt that much, but I simply hadn't anything to load up.To be honest I planned to finish 3 costumes within the last 4 weeks or so.. (I think I already mentioned my plans in my blog) ..but well, it's perfectly clear that nothing ever works out the way you planned it. Or at least the way I planned it.
Therefore I didn't manage to finish neither Ion nor Euphie. Okay. To tell you the truth Euphie's civil outfit is finished, but I don't like the way it turned out. I have to revise it urgently.
Nevertheless at least one of the 3 planned costumes is finished. It's Ranka Lee from the series Macross Frontier and I really like the way the dress turned out.
It was quite difficult to insert the elastic band, but it finally worked out the way I wanted it to. I'm quite content with the result now.
Due to the fact that it was a quite windy day I had slight problems to keep the wig in shape, but I hope you don't mind.
To make a long story short: Here's a picture of my Ranka Lee costume which I wore during Connichi 2008 in Kassel / Germany. It was very comfortable and I hope you like it the way I do!
Please ignore my ugly round face and my fat upper arms. I know that Ranka is much more delicate.
Special thanks go to firi who took the picture and edited them for me! Without her help I wouldn't have a single picture to show you!

(Außerdem 80% der Cosser sehen schrecklich aus. Nichts gegen Cosplay - ich liebe es - aber die meisten sehen einfach grässlich aus XD)

I coloured my eyebrows with latex milk and acrylic paint.
Firstly I brushed my eyebrows with the latex milk and let it dry. Afterwards I painted them with the green acrylic paint. ^_^
