About time that PokΓ©mon get the artistic treatment depicted above; I definitely like the graceful way you portrayed them, and how you made Zapdos' wings and feathers look softer (official art and most fan artists tend to make them look stiff).

Well, actually, the 'longness' and 'bigness' goes according to the perspective. Notice how the articuno's left wing (closest to viewer) is slightly larger than the other.
And, because these are "legendar pokemon" they portray an aura of gracefullness and mystique. Thus, the poses are exaggerated to show speed. Birds do, in fact, tip their wings over a bit, so that they fly at an angel, to turn in the sky. So, it's all, technically natural, at least in the pokemon world...I think...Just refer to the official art's legendary birds. It's in about the same way.
I don't watch pokemon now and days, but i did when i was like 8. ^_^;

hmm his(the fire thingy) left wing seems a bit "high"
and the one from the ice is a bit too long i guess...
on the other hand it adds dynamic
