what should i say...I'M NEVER DRAWING PLANTS AGAIN!!!!!
...
took me ages to watercolour, yes, i mean, liturally, leaf by leaf, petal by petal...=_= still look sooo messy! Normally artists will tell viewers to enlarge their art works, but now I'm telling you...DON"T ENLARGE IT, DON"T LOOK CLOSELY!
the colours turn out so bad, i was trying to use complimentary for shadows to give a more colourful look, guess i completely ruined their clothes. lol. hey, i think the only lookable parts are the faces.
Someone asked whether i drew the plants by head, no. We went to this greenhouse place during our Auckland trip, and that's where i got the inspiration from. (took a photo)
that's my writing by the way, did it on SAI so it look like colligraphy...lol

Well done, I'm dazzled by the beauty of this. I really love the composition, like the flower between the male characters as if it was fourth character.

Omooooooooooooo, that's very detailed! I really love that flower at the top, the reddish - pinkish one --the blending was really great.
Hmm, the guy with a cigarette looks big on you artwork, to the point that it seems like it's the one in front. The other guy's arm is too big. This piece is messy, but I still like it. These are the pieces I see in a cover of a manga. Congratulations on your DD.

Wow...I saw in your journal you had gotten a DD and I was like !?!?! So I looked in the DDs. It wasn't there (I guess it was from yesterday?) so I start checking all of the pictures in your gallery and finally found it. CONGRATULATIONS! You absolutely totally deserve it. XD i'm nearly done with the pencil line art. Do you want me to ink it digitally or leave it? sometimes pencil line art gives that sketchy look. But you probably prefer anime style...? haha, i'm definitely not one of the fast people! ><

I like that it was inked! Is that the biggest file size you have? It's okay if it is, I was just wondering so it would be easier to zoom and stuff. Oh, I can't say it enough. I really hope this turns out okay and I hope I don't mess up the awesomeness! I just got SAI about a week ago and was gonna try that and CS2 together to color. The thing is, I haven't quite learned SAI, but it seems pretty similar to Photoshop. GAAAH! *excited*

XD yeah, sorry, my computer can't cope with big files. But SAI can zoom in pretty easily. (just scroll) It'll turn out fine! >_< Just see it as a practise for CG. lol

I tried zooming and it didn't look too pixely, so that's good! One question though, how in the world do you do folds in clothing so well? I mean, my folds are TERRIBLE. They don't even look like folds. *sigh*
It's weird, people are saying they can't wait to see your lineart colored...and I'm scared of what they will think of the end result. Whew! Okay, I am okay...O.o

phew...good. Oh by the way, do you want the SAI file? I just thought it might be easier to color with the lines transparent. (i usually just colour underneath the lines so the edge isn't too messy.
um...folds. folds...eh...how do i explain it? I usually use markers to do a rough shading, then erase out the highlights. Hope that helps? and I often use two layers. (sometimes three, depends) The second layer can use large airbrush, just to give a larger shadow.
How about I send over an old SAI file with layers so you can see how I color...(but really, i think you'll do fine!) Can I have your email?

All in all i think its good that the colors are nice and soft in this. There is certainly a lot to see and loads of details and the soft colors keep it from being overwhelming. Great work.
