I had originally thought of drawing an earlier scene in Seeds of Arcadia's Fifth Chapter ( [link] ) where Saul and Zuri are at the lifeboat checking it over, but time got the better of me and so I decided to go with a later scene where Saul's last thoughts in the chapter are of him believing Zuri having doubts in her heart and mind; unwilling to believe a promise he makes that even he doubts he can keep.

As to what that difficult to make promise is... well, you'll just need to read the chapter. Have fun.
