"Kyn... we've known each other since we were kittens left mewling at the door of an orphanage. You don't have to do this to prove to me you are brave. Why not just leave this in the hands of the ever so vigilant Vigil? I'm sure the Six will--"

"I never said you had to follow me here, Cat."

"And you are a fool if you think I would rather sit back and let you play hero without any help."

"Just this once, though, let me face this darkness alone. I need to know what we're up against."

"You've already heard the stories, dear. We're up against an abomination that defeats entire armies!"

"Even so. I need you to--"

"Watch your back. I know."

Well, I saved the best till last I hope. For those who don't already know, Kyniren Shadowsbane could be considered my main character in GW2. As for Cat... she's more of an alt and story wise is considered Kyn's love interest and closest friend despite the different paths they chose to follow in their youth. The above banter between them does share some insight behind who they were as children though and, as much as I can't stand the personal story options you get when making new characters, I'm still sticking with the idea that the two were raised in the same orphanage together. But anyway! The Shatterer. Cool boss battle despite the zerg usually turning him into mulch without any effort. These invasions that have been happening of late though have given me the opportunity to battle these behemoths with a skeleton crew of sorts. It's actually really cool having a challenge for once and when it comes to the dragons you do get to face I find Shatner is the most memorable since he doesn't quite outstay his welcome like the Claw of Jormag! (I swear, Anet needs to give these world bosses better reward chests when single champions are worth more to hunt nowadays...)
