Description
“When was the last time we had a moment alone? They’re afraid of us.”
“They’re concerned. There’s a difference.”
“No. They’re afraid. I can sense it. They’re afraid of losing you.”
“If only that were so. Truth be it… I am merely one of many blades.”
“Liar. But then you were always too humble to appreciate the titles they’ve bestowed you.”
“I could care less about them. Right now all I care about is you.”
“Prove it.”
“As you wish.”
-- Sineru & Artyris
During the initial years of the war between the Republic and Sith Empire, love bloomed between the young Jedi warriors, Sineru and Artyris. Though they came from different walks of life, conceived from the wombs of different species, their bond in the Force made them inseparable. When they were mere apprentices during the Sacking of Coruscant in 3653 BBY they were young lovers much like their masters, who were themselves advocates against the suppression of emotions that were considered beneficial for a Jedi’s mental and physical wellbeing. To them, love was not a weakness and valued the curious virtue of committing to a chosen mate, much to the order’s chagrin. They were not fond of what they considered a dangerous perversion among their ranks.
Though both their masters perished shortly after the Sith Empire revealed itself to the galaxy at large, their unconventional wisdom carried on with the lethan twi’lek and her mirialan lover. Still, their growing responsibilities within the order strained their relationship till one day Sineru delivered an ultimatum to Artyris. She wanted him to abandon it with her and journey to the Outer Rim, where they would live together in peace and answer only to each other.
Despite his love for her, Artyris refused. His concern for the Republic’s future troubled him to no end and he became increasingly sceptical of their chances to defeat the Sith Empire when the alternative was far from uncorrupted. He contemplated the notion of abandoning them for Sineru’s affections yet argued that, had they ran away, it would only delay the inevitable. He wanted to protect, even if it meant surrendering his emotions to fight an eternal war.
She did not give him the opportunity.
She disappeared soon after his decision, abandoning the Jedi Order and him. He believed she could not bare to see him die, believed the Republic was doomed to fail in their lifetime. He never knew she left out of fear of playing her part in it all, never knew that she thought she would be their destroyer. Their end.
He fought on, praying they would meet again so he could tell her what he wanted to say long ago.
He got his chance, years later. It was a reunion they never thought they’d see.
It was a reunion of many revelations.
The galaxy’s woes could wait a little.
And I fear that if I divulge anymore lore than that I’d be giving away the story!
And if the location looks familiar, the world of Jajek 5 is like that…

Beautiful art and story ^^
Suggestion: Thoughts of making different version of this ? Like they are both naked in same art instead of only Sineru ?

Well, there's a better place for it, admittedly. (Such as Patreon... yet it won't be exclusive to it.)
I'm also still working on this art and will update later in the month. A more 'clothed' version, so to speak.
lol, personally, I don't trust DA. There's quite a few mods who are afraid of male genitalia and take it down with little reason.

Ah... ok , I understand 👌.
and sorry to hear :/
Wonder why would mod take down such couple normal naked art like that I showed , yet there’s too many nudity arts of Male on Deviant for long instead of that and haven’t got taken down .

Simple. DA does not know how to follow its own rules and are selective when it comes to enforcing them.
True, the one time I was targetted for it, I got the mod's authority overturned, but it is what it is.

lol, I wasn't even mad. In truth I had a good laugh over it.
Granted, this was my answer to them.

lol, I hope so. Normally I'm a humble man but it really wouldn't have took anything at all for me to write a better trilogy. >_>;

Indifference/borderline disinterest to Reylo aside, am I the only one here who likes the Sequel Trilogy?

I feel like they should have just worked out the plan better. I heard that Carrie's death had some stuff to do with the mess of a finale (I only like TROS ironically)
It could have been better, but what we got was okay for me. And besides, hopefully someone does something with the characters that actually works for everyone (I want to see more of them)

That rumor is clickbait bullshit, I wouldn't trust it. Doesn't help that the fandom is having angry reactions at things that aren't even out yet.

Star Wars was always political, though. Lucas explicitly admitted he based the Rebels on the Viet Cong and Palpatine on Nixon. If anything, the Sequels were LESS political!
...you're going to murder me now, aren't you?

...This is gonna be a long one (doesn't help that the fanbase now is filled with so much disinformation)
First off, "The Force is Female" was a Nike ad. The stuff with Finn you could argue was because of that but it didn't help that they wanted Finn, Rey, and Poe to be a trio (Poe was originally supposed to die). Also...I don't think Rey is that bad of a character (I'd explain further but I'm sure The Gold Man can explain it better than I can). I wouldn't call it "militant feminism" because at best it's just typical girl power stuff, nothing that special.
...honestly, I feel like most people actually don't get Star Wars, not even the fans. Lucas kinda had themes and ideas in both trilogies (corruption in politics and religion, war being destructive, environmentalism, growing up and entering a new world, and it's even possible that balance in the Force really means not one side being stronger than the other, equal light and darkness) but we instead view it as just escapist fantasy. And yes, there are escapist elements in the series and that's part of the fun, but I think the deeper meanings are also interesting and it's sad to see them kind of ignored in some circles.
...I may have gone a bit too far in some places.

...Harrison Ford hates Star Wars and agreed to do TFA only if they killed him off. Mark Hamill...well, he was initially put off by Luke being a grumpy old hermit (which ironically was one of Lucas' ideas in basic layout for the sequels he gave before retiring) but in the end he kinda decided it worked and gave one of the best performances in his career.
...this is more of that misinformation thing I was talking about. Most of what those videos say are lies and half-truths that create more misinformation and feed into toxic mindsets.

...at this point I don't even know how to respond. This isn't going anywhere, just an unending circle.
I definitely think it's more likely that what I'm saying isn't misinformation. Also, just to let you know...Kennedy produced a lot of Spielberg projects and has more experience than "Harvey Weinstein's assistant", and Lucas specifically picked her to be the new president of Lucasfilm. Does that excuse her incompetence? Not really, but that's what happened. Lucas probably won't even come back except as a consultant because he's pretty much retired and busy raising a family.
