Description It's very rewarding when you discover a new technique with watercolors. I've had so much fun with this piece that I couldn't wait to share it with you! I wanted to portray wolves searching for a path through the stars, both on earth and through the heavens above. Still working on the final details like the movement of the stars.

I also have a new facebook page where I will post progress photos/sketches of my upcoming works: [link]

Thank you for the comments and faves, I appreciate all the support I have here and I want each and every one of you to know that!

I have not used alcohol before, but I hear that it is great fun to work with watercolors. I just dipped a wet paintbrush onto the wet surface and it spread out the paint Thanks!

Oh wow! Well, that's fun as well! Even though the outcome is kind of permanent with alcohol (once you put it somewhere, the paint doesn't react the same way again) its pretty, but I gotta tell you, this looks very close and has an outcome just as pretty (or prettier, ha ). I can't wait to see it finished!

This is absolutely beautiful! I love how you incorporated all the other wolves and the colours.

Would you consider selling the original?

I actually didn't add any salt, I just dipped my wet paint brush down onto the still wet surface and it spread out, creating the cool effects Thanks you too!
