I haven't been very active here so I thought I would upload a preview of what I'm working on as a therapy piece.Preview of my current painting. I'm starting to become more comfortable with letting the water create interesting patterns and effects without freaking out. I'm finding out that watercolors are great to work with if you are uptight or stressed. It's a great medium to express yourself with an allow yourself to make mistakes.

Very nice! I absolutely LOVE how you used the texture of the salt (?) to make it look like fur!! This piece really has a nice flow to it, and those spots are simply, if you don't mind the pun, spot on! c;
Would you mind if I gave a small critique though?
I just hope you add more contrast to the face area! Right now the focus is on the warm pink spot on the back leg. I really like the way the pink looks! Just maybe add some behind or in the face to make it pop more (:

Thank you! Yes I know what you mean about the face, I've added some more washes and it's much darker now, just adding the light spots.
